Job Summary

Your Mission

Own therapist supply across 33 statesreactivating dormant providers in major metros and recruiting new therapists in small and rural markets. Youll design and execute market-specific strategies that balance speed empathy and impactbecause every therapist matters.


What Youll Do

1. Market Supply Strategy (30%)
  • Analyze therapist supply across 33 states broken down by metro and rural regions.
  • Identify market types:
  • Reactivation Markets: 20 dormant therapists ready to be re-engaged.
  • Recruitment Markets: <10 total therapistsneed net-new supply.
  • Hybrid Markets: Require both reactivation and recruitment.
  • Build tailored strategies by market (e.g. Boston reactivation; Boise recruitment).
  • Prioritize by revenue potential and fill-rate impact.


2. Relationship-Based Reactivation (30%)
  • Personally reconnect with 50100 high-value dormant therapists to re-establish trust.
  • Lead and coach the BPO outreach team on empathetic non-transactional communication.
  • Diagnose root causes of churn: understand why therapists left and what would bring them back.
  • Target: Reactivatetherapists across major metros.
  • Capture and share qualitative insights to improve provider experience and retention.


3. Hyper-Targeted New Therapist Recruitment (30%)
  • Identify underserved markets (<10 active therapists).
  • Build a local recruitment playbook:
  • Partner with massage schools (job fairs instructor referrals).
  • Post on local job boards (Indeed Craigslist community Facebook groups).
  • Engage local spas or resorts downsizing staff.
  • Offer referral bonuses ($100$200) for current therapists who bring new recruits.
  • Launch hyper-local campaigns (e.g. Soothe is hiring in Boise2 therapists needed!).
  • Fast-track onboarding: move new hires to their first booking within 7 days.
  • Target: Recruit 200500 new therapists in underserved markets.


4. BPO Dispatch Optimization (10%)
  • Manage and train offshore dispatch team (Philippines) to optimize booking acceptance rates.
  • Tailor dispatch behavior to market dynamicsevery therapist matters in small markets.
  • Prevent burnout in low-supply areas by balancing load and rewarding reliability.

  • 57 years in marketplace operations with expansion or city-launch experience.
  • Proven success solving two-sided marketplace cold-start problems.
  • Recruiter mindset: skilled at sourcing outreach and closing supply-side candidates.
  • Relationship builder: empathetic communicator who can win back dormant providers.
  • Strong market analysis and prioritization skills (ROI-driven decision-making).
  • Experience managing BPO teams or offshore operations.
  • Comfortable making 3050 outreach calls per day (mix of recruiting and reactivation).


Ideal Background
  • Launched 510 new cities for a major marketplace (e.g. Uber Rappi Grab).
  • Recruited skilled professionals at scale (therapists nurses caregivers teachers).
  • Built local partnerships (massage schools professional associations spas).
  • Experienced in rural market recruiting (community-driven approaches).
  • Background in wellness or healthcare marketplaces preferred.
