Job Description: Junior Presales Consultant Location: Hyderabad / Pune
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Junior Presales Consultant to join our presales team.
The ideal candidate will have foundational technical knowledge and strong communication abilities with 2-3 years of experience in the IT industry including relevant presales or technical support exposure.
This position requires solid communication skills and the ability to support the translation of technical concepts into business value for clients under senior mentorship.
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in discovery sessions with prospects and customers gathering and documenting technical requirements and business challenges
2. Assist in developing and delivering technical presentations with guidance from senior team members
3. Support the creation of technical proposals and business case documentation for sales opportunities
4. Contribute to RFP/RFI responses with technical content under senior consultant oversight
5. Stay informed about core industry trends and our solution offerings to support effective positioning
6. Build initial relationships with technical stakeholders and support teams at client organizations
7. Assist in maintaining demo environments and updating technical collateral as directed
8. Support participation in industry events webinars and customer forums
9. Learn presales best practices by shadowing and collaborating with senior team members
10. Provide observations on customer feedback and support documentation for product and PoC team input
11. Collaborate with implementation teams during sales-to-delivery transitions to ensure solution continuity
12. Track and maintain records of presales activities engagement metrics and outcomes with support from senior consultants
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field (preferred)
2-3 years of experience in the IT industry with exposure to presales sales engineering or technical support roles
Foundational technical background with knowledge of one or more technology stacks (Cloud Microsoft Java or similar)
Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and business audiences
Demonstrated ability to contribute to sales cycles and support deal progression
Familiarity with solution design and technical proposal concepts
Good problem-solving abilities and adaptability in client interactions
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise under senior consultant mentorship
