We are hiring a Director of Nursing for a leading Nursing home in Meath Ireland.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home to ensure smooth efficient and person-centred care delivery.
Supervise and support nursing and care staff ensuring high standards of professional practice.
Ensure the highest standards of clinical and personal care are maintained for all residents.
Monitor evaluate and improve care quality through audits feedback and continuous professional development.
Manage compliance with HIQA regulations and standards ensuring policies and procedures reflect best practice.
Prepare for and coordinate HIQA inspections implementing any recommendations effectively.
Promote and maintain a safe environment for residents staff and visitors.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety legislation conducting regular risk assessments and staff training.
Requirements
Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Provide details of any previous experience in managing or operating a designated centre.
Submit details and documentary evidence of relevant qualifications or accredited training.
Demonstrate excellent clinical leadership and organisational skills.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Exhibit sound decision-making skills.
Hold a Level 6 Management or Supervisory Qualification.
Have a minimum of 3 years experience at management level.
