Juniper is a leading not-for-profit provider of aged care and community services across Western Australia. Were seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to support accurate financial reporting compliance and continuous improvement within our Finance team.
About the Role
In this role youll ensure the integrity of Junipers financial reporting and compliance with AASB ACNC and aged care prudential standards. Youll prepare financial statements manage balance sheet reconciliations and support audits prudential returns and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports and statutory accounts.
- Maintain compliance with AASB ACNC taxation and aged care financial standards.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and monitor cash flow creditors and debtors.
- Support audit processes prudential reporting and financial control improvements.
- Assist with grants funding acquittals and financial system data integrity (Epicor Medius Prophix).
- Collaborate with the Finance team to meet deadlines and mentor junior staff.
About You
- Degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting compliance.
- Experience in financial accounting audits and ERP systems (Epicor advantageous).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
