About the Role:

• Location: New Haven CT
• Cardiology Physician
• Hours/call: 40 hours per week position. Call would be one week a month.
• Main types of procedures or patients seen: TEE ECHOs Nuc TST TST calcium scoring See patients for A fib CHF pots etc hypertension hypotension SOB etc.
• Average # of patients seen per day: 20 patients per day.
• Team size 8 person team 3 MDs and 2 NPs
• Develops a plan of care for each patient including medical history physical examination diagnosis and appropriate treatment and/or referral including hospitalization if necessary
• Uses all available resources in diagnosis and treatment such as laboratory and others tests in an appropriate and cost efficient manner
• Provide care for heart-related needs. We treat all forms of heart disease including congestive heart failure arrhythmia and heart valve disease.
• Heart monitoring and cardiac testing to diagnose heart disease.
• This role has the opportunity for Academic responsibilities. The practice is closely affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine

Background:

• Board Eligible / Board Certified - Cardiology
• Able to hold a Connecticut state medical license
