The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

We are seeking a highly-motivated specialist to be part of the General Accounting team within RTX Corporations Enterprise Services Controllership and Compliance organization in Farmington Connecticut. This person will perform the following primary responsibilities.

What You Will do

Responsible for preparing GTF invoices monthly journal entries account reconciliations and closing activities related to various Pratt & Whitney Military Engine accounts i.e. corporate allocations collaboration accounting (assessments segment allocations) GTF layering taxes and other month end accruals
Miscellaneous deliverables to support disclosures for 10-Q/10-K
Participate in process improvement activities related to all central accounting functions as required i.e. journal entry automation support finance transformation other automation efforts.
Contribute to General Accounting by bringing innovative solutions within the knowledge base and work of the department.
Provide excellent customer service to Collins Aerospace Pratt & Whitney and Corporate including answering questions or ad hoc requests as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

This role typically requires a bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience gained in a large corporate/public accounting setting or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years experience.
At least 3 years experience with and knowledge of current finance and accounting systems such as SAP or HFM and month end close procedures
At least 3 years experience with and knowledge of US GAAP Accounting principles
At least 3 years working experience and with MS Office (Excel Word and PowerPoint) and database reporting skills

Qualifications We Prefer:

CPA and/or MBA
Knowledge and reporting experience with SAP and OneStream
Analytical planning and organizational skills to solve problems and recommend comprehensive solutions
Proven verbal and written communication skills good business acumen and the ability to brief levels of management
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Ability to maintain a service-oriented demeanor with professionalism in sensitive and challenging situations

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
