Nightingale - Host (Seasonal: Nov 14 - Dec 31)
Nightingale is a modern take on the fern bars from the 70s and 80s. If you like being part of a small team are detail-oriented and are interested in craft cocktails and DJs the Host position at Nightingale may be right for you. We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant bar or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. Typical hours are between 3:30 pm and 2:30 am.
Host
Responsibilities
- Use reservation platform to track guest arrivals and departures
- Qualify guests identification
- Actively greet and seat guests and communicate their status to floor team
- Answer all phone calls emails and event inquiries
- Assist in opening and end of day close out as necessary
Qualifications
- Experience in beverage or hospitality industry preferred
- Ability to adapt to a variety of guest service needs
- Ability to communicate inEnglish
- Experience using Yelp Guest Manager a plus
- Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handlers Certification and pass RBS training
- 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to stand for 8 - 10 hours
