Job Summary

The Cabana Person is responsible for providing professional and courteous service to each and every guest. They will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through positive interactive skills. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for maintaining the Wynn standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times. 
  • Responsible for daily set up and breakdown of the pool area. 
  • Responsible for assisting guests with all food and beverages requests. 
  • Responsible for all rentals and food and beverage billing or any related financial transactions.
  • Ensures the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas.  
  • Responsible for following all designated emergency procedures and understands duties in the event an emergency arises.
  • Awareness of guest experience at all times smiles and makes eye contact and communicates professionally.
  • Knows and adheres to Wynn and departmental policies and procedures embrace company culture and take pride in the resort and amenities.
  • Understands and well versed in the resort hotel features and services including all outlets hours of operation activities and events available to guests.  
  • Attends required training classes and incorporates new standards service knowledge and safety into daily work practices.
  • Looks for opportunities to assist peers guests other departments or leaders at all times.
  • Solution oriented stays on task and promotes teamwork.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills ensuring professional and courteous communication at all times.
  • Performs all other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working in the hospitality industry or pool setting preferred. 
  • Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment. 
  • Must be able to work effectively in stressful high-pressure situations.
  • Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes concepts and ways of approaching guest and coworkers.
  • Candidate must be well groomed and professional. 
  • Must be able to communicate English with guests management and other employees to their understanding.  Additional foreign language a plus.
  • Must be available to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts.
  • Candidates should also possess basic knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions.
  • Must be capable of administering CPR or First Aid in accordance with Red Cross training.  
  • Willingness to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required at present or in the future for this position at all times
