Overview:
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Specialist to support network planning installation and technical oversight efforts. This role will lead and coordinate project tasks ensure system performance and support seamless communication between technical teams and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical and analytical evaluations of telecommunications systems preparing detailed documentation and reports.
- Develop and deliver briefings and presentations to project stakeholders.
- Lead on-site installation and configuration efforts for telecommunications and network systems.
- Support the development execution and monitoring of project plans ensuring milestones and requirements are met.
- Review work products to ensure accuracy compliance with design standards and alignment with user requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Vendor Program Managers COTRs and end-user representatives to ensure effective solutions and high customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10 years in telecommunications including a minimum of 8 years supporting local area network (LAN) environments.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance.
- Sensitivity Level: IT-I Critical Sensitive
- Certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II): Security CE CCNA Security GICSP or equivalent.
- Computing Environment Certification: CCNA CCNA-E CCNP or CCNP-E
- Installation configuration operation troubleshooting and maintenance of telecommunications and IT network systems.
- Support of systems hardware software circuits cabling and end-user devices.
- Identifying and resolving connectivity and performance issues across network components and environments.
