About this Job
The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation treatment habilitation and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions jail based evaluations supervised group home and residential programs forensic evaluation care custody and aftercare; intermediate and long term psychiatric are in coordination with the total system of care in Louisiana
Division: Within the Maintenance Department at ELMHS Located in Jackson LA
ELMHS is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join the team in the Maintenance Department as an Electrician Specialist Leader.
Minimum Qualifications
One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Three years of experience or training in the electrical trade.Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
In this role you will:
Install or repair of service lines and main disconnects for buildings over 600 volts at the district headquarters compound.
Evaluate electrical capability of individual systems throughout facility.
Maintain and repair generators for emergency service from the generator to its designated point.
Maintain electronic locks to include circuit boards relays and indicators.
Make preventive maintenance rounds on all buildings checking for loose wires
