Our customers include real-estate brokers real-estate agents owners and investors who need internet listing services and information to help them sell/purchase properties and track competitive trends.

CoStar is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to architect and maintain new systems and drive improvements to existing systems and processes. As an awesome candidate you will have many years of experience developing and maintaining highly performant web applications that will help drive the growth of our Land business unit.

This role is located in our Austin TX office and has a schedule of 4 days onsite 1 day work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve existing systems

• Develop and maintain database design and SQL scripts

• Analyze technical requirements to design/improve architecture systems services and components to meet functional performance and availability requirements.

• Apply software design patterns sound quality management methods tools and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization with high reusability and maintainability

• Write thorough unit tests to ensure the quality of the software you own

Required Skills:

• BA/BS Degree (Completed)

• A track record of commitment to prior employers

• 5 years of development experience in production environment

• Expert-level knowledge of systems using C# .NET Development

• Expert-level knowledge and experience using SQL

• Experience with software testing (Unit Integration Functional Performance)

• Experience working within an Agile team environment

• Expert knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns

• Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas within and across teams

• Ability to work well with other developers and management

• Ability to juggle priorities and work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Visual Studio SSMS and Azure DevOps or Git

• Experience with AWS and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch

• Experience architecting systems using C# .NET Development
