Role Overview
The Email Marketing Strategist plays a pivotal role in preparing strategies for email campaigns optimizing email marketing campaigns managing marketing automation tool and ensuring data integrity across systems. This role supports global and regional marketing initiatives collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy Optimization & Collaboration
Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across email channel
Build test and deploy Trigger Nurture and Engagement email programs
Conduct A/B testing and analyse performance metrics to improve campaign outcomes.
Segmenting email lists and personalizing content.
Administer marketing automation tool (e.g. Marketo)
Oversee the entire lifecycle of campaigns from conceptualisation to launch including targeting messaging and content creation.
Collaborate and consult with global and regional marketing teams creative team and cross-functional teams
Data & Reporting
Monitor campaign performance and generate actionable insights.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR).
Maintain documentation for marketing processes and standard work.
Process Improvement
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in campaign workflows.
Contribute to UTM parameter standardization and issue tracking.
Participate in workshops brainstorming sessions problem solving processes and workshops to pilot new tools and processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business or related field.
5 years of experience in Digital Marketing or Marketing Automation
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms project management tools CRM
Strategic thinking: The ability to develop long-term marketing strategies that align with company goals.
Data analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret data measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
Project management: Expertise in managing multiple projects deadlines and resources simultaneously.
Technical proficiency: Familiarity with marketing automation software CRM systems (like Salesforce) and other digital marketing tools.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teams globally and present findings to global stakeholders.
Creative thinking: The ability to develop creative ideas for campaigns and content.
Adaptability: Staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices to adapt strategies accordingly.
