About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marine Insurance Broker to support our marine insurance team. This role is ideal for someone early in their insurance career with an interest in shipping logistics and global trade. You will assist in placing and servicing marine insurance policies for a diverse portfolio of clients including shipowners and cargo operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior brokers in placing and renewing marine insurance policies
- Prepare and process insurance documentation including quotes slips cover notes and endorsements
- Liaise with underwriters to obtain competitive terms and ensure timely policy issuance
- Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation
- Respond to client inquiries and support claims processes under supervision
- Assist with compliance reporting and internal systems as required
QualificationsRequirements
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Business Finance Maritime Studies or related field)
- Strong interest in marine insurance and shipping
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
