Job Summary
Were seeking someone to join our Cost Transparency team as a Vice President in Tech Finance Business Management (TFBM) organization. This role leads the design development and governance of financial dashboards reporting solutions and cloud data warehouses for the Technology business unit. This role partners with finance leadership business managers and technology teams to deliver actionable insights drive transparency and support strategic decision-making through robust analytics and reporting platforms.
In the Finance division we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management review analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. This is a Vice President level position within the Business Management Job Family which performs business management/CAO functions including headcount management financials people processes executive communications strategic support divisional governance regulatory support etc. Includes regional location and department management and oversight.
What youll do in the role:
Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area product and/or client segment
Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firms values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
Develop maintain and enhance financial dashboards (Power BI QlikView) for monthly quarterly and ad hoc reporting needs.
Lead the transition of reporting platforms to cloud-based solutions (e.g. Snowflake) and ensure data integrity and consistency across all finance reports.
Oversee the migration and integration of finance data into centralized cloud data warehouses.
Ensure compliance with firmwide governance security and data quality standards.
Support the development of ETL processes data modeling and automation for financial reporting.
Provide self-service solutions to Business Managers
Standardize reporting logic and processes to support business unit expense management budget/forecast cycles and allocation methodologies.
Collaborate with business managers to define requirements and deliver self-service reporting tools for Technology product cost volume inventory details and utilization details.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and support business process reengineering initiatives.
What youll bring to the role:
At least 8 years of experience and a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Business Computer Science or related field.
Advanced understanding of Finance functional area product and/or client segment and technical skills as well as of industry and competitive environment
Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members
Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences and create plans to mitigate those risks
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and QlikView for financial reporting and dashboard development.
Deep experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake Azure SQL Server) and ETL/data modeling processes.
Strong understanding of financial analysis budgeting forecasting and expense allocation methodologies.
Experience in business process reengineering system integration and software development life cycle.
Familiarity with compliance governance and data security standards in financial reporting environments.
