Occupational Therapist Rehabilitation Unit

The Rehabilitation Unit at St Johns Campus is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team of experienced health professionals. This full-time permanent position offers flexibility with days and hours; FTE can be negotiated. While experience is preferred new graduates are welcome to apply.

About the Role

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with diverse orthopaedic neurological and medical conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop implement and review intervention plans tailored to each patients motor sensory or cognitive needs.
  • Establish patient-centred goals treatment and discharge plans in partnership with patients their significant others and the healthcare team.
  • Communicate effectively advocating for patients and carers and contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Stay current with developments in Occupational Therapy and ensure contemporary evidence-based practices are integrated into service delivery.

About You

  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration.
  • Previous experience is advantageous; new graduates will be considered.
  • Current drivers license.
  • Proficient computer literacy.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
