Occupational Therapist Rehabilitation Unit
The Rehabilitation Unit at St Johns Campus is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team of experienced health professionals. This full-time permanent position offers flexibility with days and hours; FTE can be negotiated. While experience is preferred new graduates are welcome to apply.
About the Role
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with diverse orthopaedic neurological and medical conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop implement and review intervention plans tailored to each patients motor sensory or cognitive needs.
- Establish patient-centred goals treatment and discharge plans in partnership with patients their significant others and the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively advocating for patients and carers and contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Stay current with developments in Occupational Therapy and ensure contemporary evidence-based practices are integrated into service delivery.
About You
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration.
- Previous experience is advantageous; new graduates will be considered.
- Current drivers license.
- Proficient computer literacy.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
