Job Summary:
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a motivated and organized Clinical Research Administrative Assistant internally known as a Clinical Research Assistant/Patient Recruiterto join our team in Chicago IL. This role focuses on administrative coordination phone-based patient outreach and participant scheduling to support our clinical research studies. The ideal candidate enjoys speaking with people managing details and helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for study participants.
Salary: $23$25 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for potential study participantsanswering phones responding to inquiries and conducting outreach calls.
Recruit pre-screen and schedule participants for clinical research studies.
Support the research team with data entry document organization and scheduling activities.
Maintain accurate participant records and assist with filing regulatory and study documentation.
Communicate professionally with patients physicians and internal staff to coordinate study visits.
Help track patient follow-ups and reminders to promote engagement and retention.
Perform general office and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations of the research site.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
1 year of administrative customer service or medical office experience required.
Prior experience with patient scheduling or recruitment is a plus.
Strong phone communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel); experience with research databases or EMR systems is a plus.
Detail-oriented dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
