Location: Plano TX 75093
Type: Contract
Shift: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $2000 $2208.50 weekly (Travel)
Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Surgical Technologist CVORfor an exciting job in Plano TX.
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments equipment and sterile drapes.
Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterilized and ready for use.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
Maintain the sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
Perform instrument counts (sponges needles and instruments) before and after surgery.
Handle specimens for laboratory analysis.
Ensure proper cleaning care and storage of surgical instruments and equipment post-procedure.
Assist with patient preparation including washing shaving and disinfecting incision sites.
Support the surgical team in emergency situations as required.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and supplies used.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
