Dental Solutions is looking for a traveling Orthodontic Assistant in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and surrounding areato assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both staff and patients.
Position Overview:
As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the doctor in orthodontic procedures treatment planning and patient education. You will help maintain a well-organized practice by preparing treatment rooms sterilizing instruments assisting in procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Compensation for this role is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
- Assist the doctor with patient treatment positioning instruments and handling orthodontic appliances.
- Educate patients on treatment plans post-procedure care and oral hygiene.
- Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
- Support dentists and staff with treatment planning billing and insurance matters.
- Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
- Maintain office inventory including supplies and equipment.
- Address patient and employee concerns professionally.
- Contribute to a positive team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year of hands on Orthodontic experience
- Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- X-Ray certification is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
