REQUIREMENTS
- 11 years in software testing with strong focus on test automation.
- Extensive hands-on expertise in automated UI and API testing using TOSCA ServiceNow Postman.
- Strong experience in automating test cases for web applications.
- Proficiency in Cucumber SpecFlow and Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with Tricentis qTest TOSCA Server and TDS for test management reporting and collaboration.
- Solid experience in API testing (manual & automation) to validate functionality and performance of web services.
- Skilled in defect management using ServiceNow and other defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Familiarity with incident change and problem management processes within QA lifecycle using ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) including active participation in sprint ceremonies.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining dashboards/reports to provide insights on test execution coverage and quality metrics.
- Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver FS JIRA GIT Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Hands-on programming/scripting experience in Java C# JavaScript Python VBScript Maven or other relevant languages.
- Familiarity with various testing tools such as UFT TOSCA Test Complete Katalon Studio Appium Coded UI Protractor Selenium etc.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit NUnit TestNG or others as required.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills with proven experience in capturing requirements and ensuring alignment with QA processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills ability to work independently as well as within teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and document functional and non-functional requirements validated by SMEs.
- Interact with clients to identify scope acceptance criteria and testing expectations; collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine acceptance criteria.
- Prepare test strategy test plans and test cases aligned to business requirements.
- Estimate test effort create testing schedules assign tasks and identify constraints/dependencies.
- Perform risk management by identifying mitigating and resolving business and technical risks.
- Design develop and maintain test automation frameworks following project guidelines and best practices.
- Set up and enforce best practices for test automation across projects.
- Execute automated and manual tests for UI and APIs using TOSCA Postman and other frameworks.
- Manage defects effectively: log track and collaborate with developers for timely resolution using ServiceNow/JIRA.
- Prepare and share comprehensive test reports dashboards and metrics to provide stakeholders with meaningful insights.
- Conduct demos and walkthroughs of applications for internal/external stakeholders.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning daily standups retrospectives).
- Work with team members and stakeholders to triage and prioritize defects.
