Were seeking Labourers for an opportunity starting December 1st 2025 in North York Ontario.
During the month of December work will take place at the Metro site followed by maintenance roles across the Greater Toronto Area (Halton Region) starting January 2026.
Shift Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8-hour days.
- Possibility of weekend overtime based on client needs.
- Orientation (8 hours) paid.
Pay range: $43.68-$45.98
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general labour and support skilled trades including material handling equipment operation maintenance installation and site cleanup.
- Participate in safety initiatives including hazard assessments toolbox meetings permit compliance and addressing unsafe conditions.
- Assist with project coordination by providing progress updates ensuring materials equipment and PPE are available and supporting schedule adherence.
- Inspect work for quality support incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records encourage teamwork and perform other duties to support safe and productive operations.
This position does not include camp accommodations living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on industrial and construction sites specifically within fuel terminals; must have a valid drivers license and a clean 5-year abstract with fewer than 6 demerits.
- Must meet mandatory safety training requirements including WHMIS Fall Protection Aerial Work Platform Confined Space Entry CSTS and optionally PM03 Petroleum Mechanic Training and Certification.
- Proven experience in obtaining managing and completing work permits with proper sign-off and safely working on live systems using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and system isolation protocols.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials standing for extended periods and working in industrial environments such as heights confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
- Must meet all site access and pre-employment requirements including Suncor web-based training be proficient in English (written and verbal) and have reliable transportation to the site.
