Job Description:

At Regions the Project Administratortypically independently manages budgets of $499K or less projectsprovides support for business segment project teams on cross functional projects partners with project teams which may include executives and/or managers who are project sponsors in supporting the initiation planning execution control and closing phases of projects to achieve specific business position conducts business process analyses needs assessmentsand preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align solutions with business initiatives. This position also may prepare functional system and program specifications and may function as a liaison between business segments and Technology.

Primary Responsibilities

Demonstrates through application an understanding of the project management process to assigned roles and tasks
Works independently to draft project deliverables for review
Applies the project management process tools and templates to manage departmental projects
Serves as a support function/resource ensuring all phases of a project is executed according to project plans
Solicits feedback from project sponsors prior to finalizing project related deliverables
Provides project and departmental status reporting
Assists with moderately complex projects

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or related degree
Three (3) yearsof project management related coursework or experience

Preferences

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Familiarity with SharePoint

Skills and Competencies

Ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
Excellent written/verbal communication organizational and analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Project)
Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices a plus (Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Information Technology Infrastructure Library ( ITIL) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile etc)

Additional Job Description and Prefrences

Strong working knowledge of the Retail Banking Experience minimum of five years retail branch preferred.
Working knowledge of branch processes and systems
Proven ability to build strategic partnerships across the organization inside and outside of consumer.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.
This position may work a Hybrid schedule with an office location within the current Regions footprint.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience skills knowledge contribution job location and most importantly performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
