As part of Frasers Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) care team the Psychiatric Provider (PMHNP)works collaboratively with clients and families to integrate psychiatric medications into a comprehensive whole-person-centered treatment plan that reflects each individuals strengths and challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Exceptional Whole-Person Client Care
Deliver high-quality whole-person psychiatric services including psychiatric assessments medication management crisis intervention lab and procedure orders referrals for additional services and supports psychoeducation and psychotherapy for clients and families as needed. - Support Crisis Management
Evaluate clients in crisis develop safety plans and determine the need for hospitalization or referral to a higher level of care. - Coordinate Psychiatric Services
Collaborate with the psychiatry clinic team and other Fraser professionals to ensure integrated team-based care. - Maintain Accurate Clinical Documentation
Complete timely accurate and compliant documentation in alignment with organizational policies and standards. Ensure proper application of Evaluation and Management (E/M) codes to support accurate billing reimbursement and regulatory compliance. - Collaborate and Consult Across Teams
Partner with internal teams and external providers as needed; offer consultation and support to staff and families to enhance client outcomes. - Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives
Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols policies and standards of psychiatric care. - Foster Trusting Client Relationships
Build rapport with clients and families to promote engagement trust and continuity of care. - Drive Innovation and Embrace Change
Demonstrate adaptability initiative and leadership in a dynamic fast-paced environment. - Advance CCBHC Goals
Contribute to Frasers commitment to CCBHC goals of improving access integrating physical and behavioral health and supporting underserved populations through innovative data-driven practices.
Compensation
- Salary range for a Part-Time 0.4 FTE is $58000 - $62000
Location & Schedule
- Part-time Monday through Friday standard business hours
- Bloomington MN
Requirements:
- Masters degree from an accredited psychiatric nursing program required. Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) preferred.
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center required (ANCC) as a PMHNP
- Current active Minnesota APRN licensure required.
- Active DEA license.
- Clinical experience working with neurodiverse individuals clients with neurodevelopmental disorders children and adolescents preferred.
- Ability to perform office-related duties as well as carry out responsibilities in clinic and community-based settings. Ability to work off-site and travel as needed.
- Reasoning: Ability to understand and implement all related regulations according to Fraser policy and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Proficiency in foreign language with the ability to communicate orally and in writing to children and families of a foreign language preferred.
- Possession of a valid Minnesota drivers license and maintenance of a satisfactory driving record consistent with Fraser policy required by specific needs of the individuals receiving services. Access to a reliable vehicle in working order.
