We are currently looking to hire Psychiatric Registered Nurses in the Charleston SC area.
Location:Charleston SC.
Shifts: (Weekdays weekends and holidays required).
- 7:30am-8:00pm.
- 7:30pm-8:00am.

Qualifications:
- All Registered Nurses must have a current license in any state territory or commonwealth in the US or District of Columbia.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a bachelors in nursing.
- Must possess and maintain BLS certification.
- Must have a minimum of two-years experience (must have worked within the last six months) in a mental health setting.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the delivery of quality age specific healthcare; for utilizing sound clinical judgement to ensure positive patient outcomes for Veterans.
- Assess plans implements supervises teaches evaluates and documents patient care.
- Responsible for direct patient care within the behavioral health inpatient unit and facilitates the appropriate plan of care.
- Accompany and/or transport patients to appointments or procedures as necessary.
- Manage care by promoting positive patient outcomes including the areas of medical and psychiatric emergencies detox (withdrawal symptoms) and patient safety.
