Cloud Applications Engineer Live Media Systems

• Collaborating with project team on deployments of Evertz systems to the cloud
• Understanding customer requirements and building out solutions via Infrastructure as Code
• Interfacing with customers on the solution requirements and deployment
• Create API driven system deployments
• Supporting internal teams with building out environments for test and validation of customer solutions
• Building and maintaining system dashboards
• Aiding in the design and integration of cloud services
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment iterative development of industry-leading products and technology.
• Able to learn quickly work independently and have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Other duties as required.

• Working knowledge of at least one Cloud provider: AWS GCP Azure
• Knowledge and understanding of Coud-based redundancy and network architecture: load-balancing AZs auto-scaling
• General infrastructure as code tooling: Terraform Packer Ansible Puppet
• Cloud platform specific infrastructure as code tooling: Cloud Formation Template ARM
• Knowledge of system observability e.g. AWS CloudWatch
• Deploying and maintaining container-based solutions: Docker Kubernetes
• Linux based systems
• Scripting languages: Python Bash
• Education in Electronics/Electrical/Computing/Software/Broadcasting or related field
• Cloud Platform certification would be an asset: AWS Cloud Practitioner Azure Fundamentals GCP Cloud Engineer
