About the Opportunity

Are you driven to create meaningful change for children and families This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of the Best Start Programan initiative that brings together senior government education and community partners to improve outcomes for children in greatest need. As the Best Start Facilitator youll coordinate strategic projects champion innovation and oversee the Kindergarten Central Registration & Enrolment Scheme all while shaping services that are inclusive responsive and impactful across the municipality.

You will make an impact by

  • Facilitating the Best Start Partnership to deliver targeted outcomes for children and families.
  • Coordinating strategic and operational projects that build service capacity and drive innovation.
  • Leading the implementation and review of the Kindergarten Central Registration & Enrolment Scheme.
  • Building strong partnerships across government education and community sectors.
  • Ensuring childrens voices are embedded in the design delivery and evaluation of service

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience in analysing data and using evidence to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in partnership development stakeholder engagement and co-design.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align work with broader Council objectives.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and diplomacy skills.
  • Sound understanding of child and family service systems including local and state networks.
  • Knowledge of Child Safe Standards privacy and confidentiality legislation
