We are seeking a full-time Technology Compliance Analyst to join our Advisory Services this role you will help clients navigate complex compliance landscapes and build resilient secure operations that drive long-term success.
You will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop improve and execute information security programs support compliance initiatives and strengthen organizational security.
We are looking for a detail-oriented client-focused professional who thrives on delivering high-quality compliance solutions and enjoys working in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Gather information for information security risk assessments.
- Develop review and maintain information security programs for clients.
- Assist with compliance and gap analysis reviews using common frameworks including NIST Cybersecurity Framework NYS DFS and CMMC.
- Utilize Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools to generate analyze and distribute compliance-based reporting.
- Track and plan compliance activities preparing reports for client compliance audits.
- Provide cybersecurity representation in client technology committee meetings.
- Develop and maintain information security and acceptable use policies for clients supporting organization-wide deployment.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of governance documents identify compliance gaps and contribute to risk assessments.
- Work with technology consultants to recommend changes to technology procedures and policies to meet compliance requirements.
- Provide input into the creation of detailed project plans work assignmentsandtargetdatesfor clients.
- Stay current with the evolving cybersecurity regulatory environment.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or 3-4 years equivalent experience in technology IT security consulting and audit environments.
- CISSP CCSP CIPT or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively communicate intricate technical information to internal and external stakeholders with diverse levels of technical experience.
- Familiarity with risk assessments and/or audits preferred.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently within a small team with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Experience with cloud security technologies especially Microsoft Office 365 desired.
- Experience with HIPAA GLBA PCI NIST and/or CMMC compliance desired.
- Driven by security compliance and governance.
