Provides administrative support in the daily operation of the New Mexico Asset Integrity & Maintenance team.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Technical Assistant through 11/19/2025 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

The Technical Assistant is responsible for the technical and administrative support for the New Mexico Asset Integrity and Maintenance teams. Role requires ability to oversee technical systems apply organizational expertise identify inefficiencies and provide potential solutions support cost tracking and forecasting efforts and successfully engage with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Performs routine tasks independently. General supervision of non-routine basic knowledge of Chevron policies and practices.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Tracking and forecasting NM AIM costs. Work with finance to identify improperly designated costs and move them to the correct line item. Host cost tracking review meeting with AIM LT.
  • Training coordination. Point of contact for the NM AIM LT to track and update necessary trainings to support organizational growth.
  • SAP support. Ability to troubleshoot planning & scheduling issues with the CMMS system and work with SAP support to identify a solution
  • Support NM AIM LT. Look for inefficiencies throughout the organization and present the findings to the AIM team with potential solutions. Act as a point of contact for the AIM LT as they identify special projects and need assistance scoping potential solutions.

  • Experience and high degree of skill with learning management systems and the entire Microsoft suite (including Power BI).

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Provides general administrative support which may include coordinating

meetings catering planning events ordering office supplies and coordinating

office moves.

Manage calendars coordinate meetings both in person and virtual event

coordination (including venue reservation hotel and restaurant reservations and

logistics).

Assist managers with routine travel planning as well as team members who face

unplanned circumstances while on travel.

Provide relief/support to San Ramon assistants as needed.

Maintains highest degree of confidentiality at all times.

Perform general administrative support and ad hoc tasks and projects in support of

the organization.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years administrative experience

Demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while producing high-quality work.

Demonstrated professionalism and strong influencing skills.

Capable of building quality relationships with team members

Ability to work independently and be self-directed with minimal supervision.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications MS Teams OneNote

Chevrons Time and Expense system and OneDrive

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in an administrative role within the oil and gas industry

Ability to effectively collaborate with various groups and stakeholders.

Advanced skills in Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Word SAP and Workday

Demonstrated ability to learn and apply knowledge regarding new systems and

processes

Relocation Options:

Relocation is not offered for this role. Only local candidates will be considered.
