Job Summary
Manufacturing organization in Littlestown PA is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join its machining team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced CNC machines including lathes horizontal and vertical mills and 5-axis mills to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of machining principles excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform setups on CNC machines including lathes horizontal mills vertical mills and 5-axis mills efficiently and safely
- Layout components to verify stock and ensure machinability
- Operate CNC machine tools such as vertical turning mills and horizontal boring mills to machine parts to exact specifications
- Edit CNC programs as needed to ensure accuracy and optimize productivity
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using strong mathematical skills
- Verify component quality using precision inspection tools including micrometers and Vernier calipers
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- PA State Approved Journeyman Machinist or Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification desired
- Knowledge of G and M codes is a plus
- Strong ability to interpret and work from blueprints
This role requires physical activity typical of a machining environment including:
- Standing walking bending and lifting for extended periods
- Lifting and handling materials or equipment weighing up to 70 pounds
- Fine motor skills and visual acuity for precision machining and inspection
