This senior leadership role offers a unique opportunity to advance operational performance across one of the nations leading academic medical centers. The Vice Chair will shape and execute strategies that enhanceclinical efficiency quality access patient and clinician experience innovation and financial sustainabilityacross both inpatient and ambulatory domains.
Reporting directly to theChair of the Department of Medicine and partnering closely with theVice President of Medicine at BMC Section Chiefs Medical Directors Nursing and hospital operations leadership the Vice Chair will be responsible for aligning clinical operations with BMCs overarching mission ofexceptional care without exception ensuring that the Departments systems and structures enable both clinical excellence and health equity.

Appointment and Evaluation
This is a renewable leadership appointment contingent upon continued excellence in performance and alignment with institutional and departmental priorities. Performance will be evaluated annually by the Chair of Medicine in collaboration with hospital senior leadership.
Salary range: $252674 to $359918
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to qualifications experience education licenses specialty training and departmental budget.
