Main Tasks:
Implement controls and action plans by defining and regularly updating control plans according to the outcome of risk assessments regulations incidents audits and external events.
Perform and/or coordinate controls according to the established control plan.
Ensure that control results are reviewed and analyzed by management and when relevant by operational teams or stakeholders with remediation action plans defined and followed-up as required.
Document findings recommendations and permanent control actions; organize follow-up of internal or external audit/supervisory findings ensuring closure within deadlines.
Manage historical incidents by alerting management and independent control functions when necessary.
Collect incidents (including impact measurement) update the incidents database (including suspected or attempted fraud cases) analyze them in a timely manner and define corrective measures with stakeholders. Follow-up and/or initiate remediation actions and manage long-term incidents.
Perform controls on the incident collection process including cross-checks with other databases (accounting or equivalent when existing) and periodic attestations by local management.
Provide management support and contribute actively to operational risk and permanent control committees.
Escalate operational risk incidents or recurring weaknesses and provide periodic/ad-hoc reporting to the appropriate management levels and control functions.
Ensure appropriate training on operational risks and permanent control framework is provided to employees particularly newcomers.
Take ownership of specific activity streams/topics and deliver complete reporting of actions taken on assigned processes.
Identify and assess risks and controls (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) ensuring key operational units processes material risks and mitigating measures are identified.
Drive risk identification and assessment in liaison with independent control functions ensuring validation by management and alignment with defined risk tolerance. Contribute to remediation plans as needed.
