Responsibilities
The Hospital Maintenance Engineer is a member of the hospital leadership team who works in collaboration with the chief executive officer (CEO) to support the overall operation of the facility inclusive of administrative and technical operation. Serving as the hospitals safety officer the DPO manages the environmental services and security departments to ensure safe operating conditions in compliance with all state federal and accrediting agencies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in provision of maintenance environmental services and related services in a hospital environment required
- Current and valid state Drivers License required
- Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards required.
Preferred Experience
- College Degree related to building construction and maintenance preferred.
