The Medical Unit at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital is a 26-bed unit with an average census of eight to ten patients and one swing bed department incorporated to med/surg that is skilled nursing. The department covers general medical surgery all post-op generalized pneumonia flu wound care (on skilled nursing side) and physical therapy. The clinical nursing program is new and offers a different/slower pace of training where a new nurse can acclimate and have time to learn our department better. We seek candidates that are flexible and willing to cross train to accommodate labor and delivery if needed.

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Two years of recent LPN experence (preferred)

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• License Practical Nurse (required)
• BLS (required)
• IV Therapy (State IV Certification upon hire or within three month of hire/transfer (required)

Schedule: PRN (nights)

Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
