How youll contribute

AManager Sleep Labwho excels in this role:

• Determines coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.

• Ensures all attended and home sleep studies are staffed performed and managed efficiently and effectively. Provides direction orientation training coaching and mentoring to staff; assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

• Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs continuing education and technician meetings. Performs equipment maintenance monthly checks (CPAP ETC02 and oxygen calibrations).

• Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies procedures and protocols.

• Remains on call for all technologists assistance with technology equipment troubleshooting and other urgent needs.

• Manages the work of others including planning assigning scheduling and reviewing work ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring terminating training and developing reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

• Applicants should be a RegisteredPolysomnographicTechnologist(RPSGT)

Additional requirements include:

• Associates degreerequired. Bachelors degree preferred. Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education

• Successful completion ofa PSG educational program leading.

• BLS Certification

• LicensedwiththeVABoardof MedicineinPolysomnography
