Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Services and repairs hydraulics drivetrains engines and electrical systems on Heavy

• Duty and Light Duty mobile equipment.

• Certified to properly handle and administer regulated refrigerants for A/C systems on equipment

• Completes workplace inspection at the beginning of each shift

• Diagnoses and correct problems makes adjustments and repairs on vehicles

• Changes and repairs tires.

• Lubricates mobile equipment

• Changes oil fuel air filters as needed during service of machines

• Notifies supervisor of any difficulty interfering with completion of assigned jobs.

• Adherence to company attendance and safety protocols

• Drives and operates plant mobile equipment Fork lifts bobcats pickup trucks boom lifts and other mobile equipment.

• Use of hand power hand tools drills impact wrenches

• Knowledge and capability to use arc wire feed welders torches etc.

• Cleans work area after work is complete

• Uses proper rigging gear and procedure to move equipment

• Inspects equipment and reports defective parts.

• Dismantles equipment cleans replaces or repairs parts. Rebuilds or reassembles and reinstalls units.

Job Qualifications:

• Required - Verifiable 5 years of experience performing independent mobile equipment service andrepair

• Valid drivers license

• CDL operators

• Must have Completion of training Certificates .

• Training certificates must be Verifiable from the source of training.

• Verifiable certificate of specialized Automotive / OTR equipment for electronic systems Diagnostics.

• Other verifiable certifications deemed appropriate by management

• Safe driving record

• Meet requirements of the job evaluation

• Preferred - Enrolled or completion of the Cat Think BIG Program or equivalent

• Preferred - Enrolled or completion of the Cat Technicians for the World Program

• Preferred - ASE Master Diesel Mechanics Certification

• Valued - John Deere Technician Certification

Hourly Rate: $38.16 - $41.04
