Position Overview

As an Automation Test Engineer you will ensure the technical maturity and quality of our products by automating test processes conducting regression tests and overseeing system integration and testing throughout the development lifecycle. Youll collaborate closely with developers and testers in Ancona (Italy) in our headquarters in Denmark as well with other international teams in Europe US and Asia.

About the Role

• Design develop and maintain automation scripts using industry-standard test automation tools (e.g. Selenium Appium Robot Framework).
• Create enhance and debug automated test frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify analyze and document problems with program function output or content.
• Develop detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests analyze results and report defects with clear reproducible steps.
• Evaluate plan and apply new testing technologies for robustness and efficiency.
• Ensure quality issues and defects are appropriately identified documented tracked and resolved in the defect tracking system.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure software requirements are met.
• Participate in product design reviews and PI Planning providing input on functional requirements product designs schedules and potential problems.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Monitor debugging process results and report on the status of testing.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools test strategies and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with external test labs for certification and release purposes.
• Participate in bug triages providing input on reproducibility or severity of bugs.
• Support the product development process from scoping requirements development verification and release.
• Ensure that all releases meet quality standards and are free of critical defects.
• Ensure that all releases comply with certification requirements from major players such as Microsoft Teams Zoom and Google.

The Team You Will be Part of

You will be part of a global engineering organization with skilled hardware firmware and tester team members focusing on audio/video products. This team works closely with the Video Business Unit to provide the innovation muscle and maximize growth. The team has end-to-end accountability for the delivery of innovation to the BU delivering products on time cost scope and quality in full alignment with the Video Systems Division and road maps.

Your profile- The Attitudes and Skills Were Looking For

• Have a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Electronic Engineering Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent specialized High School qualifications).
• Leaving in Ancona or surrounding (no relocation fees).
• Proven experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (Python Java C/C preferred).
• Strong understanding of embedded software development processes tools and technologies.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills establish good relationships generate enthusiasm and negotiate priorities.
• Fluent/Bilingual communication skills in English and Italian with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a sense of humor tact and flexibility in changing situations are strong in forming relationships great teammate dynamic creative with the ability to work on own initiatives.
• Good familiarity with test case management tools and defect tracking systems (JIRA Azure DevOps Jama).
• Proven knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (SAFe SCRUM).
• Team-oriented dynamic creative and able to work independently.
• Willing to join engaged engineering teams with a culture of feedback open communication and team orientation.
