Your Role
We are looking for aData Platform Engineerwith 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing modern data platforms onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP). Your work will enable advanced analyticsandAI-driven insights across the organization. The role focuses on buildingnear real-time data pipelines ensuring data quality and reliability and enabling advanced reporting and analytics through robust data modeling.
Your Impact
- Contribute to the continuous evolution and innovation of the data platform by implementing and experimenting withGoogle Cloud technologies.
- Design and develop data pipelinesfor batch and near real-time processing.
- Implement robust data modelsand architectures to support analytics and reporting.
- Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring consistency quality and security.
- Optimize performance reliability and cost-efficiency of data workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science and Business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support data governance monitoring and observability practices.
About You
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related field.
- 35 years of experience in data engineeringanddata platform development.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform components: BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub Datastream Airflow Cloud Functions API Gateway Dataform.
- Proficiency in SQLandPython.
- Experience in data modelingand designing architectures for reporting and analytics.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processesand related technologies (SAP Data Services is a plus).
- Google Cloud certifications are considered a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills proactivity and ability to work in a team environment.
- Goal-oriented mindset and proactive approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
