Key Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- Minimum 35 years experience in a similar role within the construction sector
- Proficiency in BuildSmart accounting software (non-negotiable)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting budgeting and cost control
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting function including general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
- Oversee project costing and ensure the accurate allocation of expenses
- Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with audits
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvements
