Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Engineer to join our team in the water and wastewater industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engineering projects from design through to commissioning ensuring all technical safety and quality standards are met. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization driving innovation and sustainability in water infrastructure and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate engineering activities across the design procurement installation and commissioning phases of water and wastewater projects.
Prepare project documentation including specifications risk assessments schedules and progress reports.
Liaise with clients contractors consultants and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Oversee technical design reviews equipment selection and quality control processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards environmental regulations and health & safety policies.
Monitor project budgets timelines and resources to deliver cost-effective solutions.
Provide technical support during construction testing and commissioning stages.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree ( / BSc) in Civil Mechanical Electrical Environmental or Process Engineering.
Minimum 35 years experience in project engineering within the water wastewater or utilities sectors.
Strong understanding of water treatment processes pumping systems and distribution networks.
Proven experience managing multiple projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera) is an advantage.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
