This role calls for someone with solid technical grounding a sharp eye for compliance and the confidence to guide others. Youll manage statutory and SARS reporting prepare audit packs oversee a small team of Junior Accountants and Debtors Clerks and ensure that every transaction runs as cleanly as our refineries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full statutory and SARS compliance across entities
- Prepare review and manage detailed audit packs and reconciliations
- Oversee Junior Accountants and Debtors Clerks ensuring accuracy and deadlines
- Maintain and optimise accounting processes within Evolution and custom ERP systems
- Support financial reporting and month-end close activities
- Design and improve Excel-based reports and tools (including macros) for financial analysis
- Act as a key liaison between finance Auditors and operational teams
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting with completed SAIPA/SAICA articles (essential)
- 23 years post-articles experience in a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of SARS compliance and statutory reporting
- Proven experience preparing audit packs and managing small teams
- Proficient in Evolution ERP and advanced Excel (macros formulas and pivot tables)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Reliable detail-focused and hands-on
