The Opportunity
Our esteemed client one of Vietnams leading securities firms is seeking an Investment Manager to oversee proprietary trading activities manage investment portfolios and drive strategic growth within the financial market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the departments annual business plan.
- Lead proprietary trading: define strategies policies and performance targets; manage investment and trading activities using company and borrowed capital.
- Build and manage investment portfolios aligned with risk tolerance expected returns and sector allocation.
- Identify analyse and recommend investment or divestment opportunities in listed stocks and funds; evaluate long-term equity investments.
- Advise top management on business strategies and market outlook.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc performance and planning reports.
- Monitor and assess departmental operations to enhance efficiency and minimize risks.
- Manage team performance task allocation process development and job descriptions.
- Plan human resources and conduct periodic staff evaluations.
- Maintain safe and complete records of all investment-related documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Banking or related fields; CFA/FRM or overseas Masters preferred.
- 35 years of experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of financial and securities markets.
- Analytical proactive and responsible; good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and financial analysis tools.
