Unit Information: Nuclear Medicine Location: Methodist Hospital Texsan Address: 6700 I-10 W San Antonio TX 78201 Floor: 2nd Building: Hospital General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 200 Number of Staff 5 in nuclear department Type of staff: o Day Shift 2 in hospital 2 in clinic o Weekend On Call Patient Ratios Type of equipment Hospital: GE Discovery/Xeleris Case Machine Clinic : GE Ventri/Xeleris Case Machine EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Basic Life Support license TMB and ARRT licenses Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Cardiac and general experience PET experience (not required) List typical procedures performed on unit(s): SPECT stress test (Lexiscan Dobutamine and treadmill) Bone scan HIDA scan (w/wo CCK) Lung perfusion Amyloid scan Renal Flow Scan (w/or wo Lasix) MUGA Scan In-111 WBC GI Bleed Gastric Emptying Best personality Fit: Passionate team member driven patient oriented strives for safety and quality measures REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Life Support license TMB and ARRT licenses Floating Area(s): Cardiac Clinic Hospital Nuclear Department Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Olive green top black pants or hospital issued scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
