- Implement monitoring solutions as designed by Cloud Architects Development Architects and Sr. DevOps team members.
- Recommend and drive continuous improvements for DevOps services focusing on application monitoring and site reliability.
- Document processes and tasks to standardize procedures and facilitate cross-training.
- Create and deploy alerts based on system performance and cybersecurity best practices.
- Use CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) to deploy alerts and dashboards.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance metrics and telemetry for troubleshooting and monitoring.
- Work with business stakeholders to define and implement dashboards that measure system performance and usage against business goals.
- Report on key performance indicators and provide feedback to application teams to improve performance and telemetry.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers and Cloud architects to supply robust monitoring and debugging information to development teams.
- Advise on performance issues troubleshoot cloud environment problems and advocate for monitoring best practices.
- Complete project tasks on schedule ensuring high-quality deliverables thorough documentation and smooth transition to operational teams.
- Utilize application monitoring tools (e.g. Azure Monitor Grafana New Relic SolarWinds Amazon CloudWatch) to support cloud-based applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues from system resources to application stack traces.
- Develop scripts (preferably in Python) and manage code with Git and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with IaaS and PaaS ideally in Azure cloud environments.
- Apply knowledge of software development life cycle test-driven development CI/CD.
- Demonstrate strong diagnostic problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
