What Were Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 5 years of experience in investment banking private equity venture capital strategic finance FP&A or consulting.
- At least 2 years of experience working within a startup environment.
- Strong analytical financial modeling and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- A high sense of ownership and a drive to make meaningful impact.
- Bonus: Familiarity with SQL or a desire to learn and working knowledge of SaaS metrics such as LTV CAC net retention and burn multiple.
Key Responsibilities
This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Youll be the financial architect behind the companys growth and operational clarity.
- Build and maintain financial models including revenue forecasts cash flow projections and headcount planning.
- Track actuals vs. budget and deliver variance analyses to leadership.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as evaluating new markets revenue streams and business line expansions.
- Partner with sales to model ROI for large deals and support pricing strategy and profitability analysis.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and dashboards (e.g. Ramp QuickBooks Mosaic) to streamline operational finance.
- Own the FP&A function and support go-to-market and sales operations with financial insights.
- Manage customer collections resolve unpaid invoices and coordinate with internal teams and client finance contacts to improve cash flow and financial health.
