The Chief of Otolaryngology serves as the clinical and administrative leader for a high-volume well-established ENT service overseeing patient care faculty and APPs and program development across adult and pediatric otolaryngology subspecialties. Key responsibilities
-
Lead and grow a comprehensive otolaryngology program including adult and pediatric ENT services and subspecialty programs (head & neck rhinology otology laryngology as applicable).

Provide advanced clinical care: evaluate and manage complex ear nose throat and head and neck disorders; perform office- and OR-based procedures and surgeries; participate in call coverage as assigned.

Recruit develop and mentor otolaryngology physicians advanced practice providers and junior faculty; support career growth academic productivity and a collaborative team culture.

Partner with hospital and medical group leadership on strategy quality access and service-line growth; ensure evidence-based practice patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Oversee clinical operations within ENT including clinic flow OR access care pathways and integration with anesthesia oncology radiology audiology speech-language pathology and primary care.

Support and participate in teaching and academic activities including resident and fellow education and potential medical student teaching through regional academic affiliations.

Contribute to performance improvement clinical outcomes initiatives and program development in head and neck surgery hearing and balance sinus and skull base disease voice and airway disorders and general otolaryngology.
Required qualifications

MD or DO degree with completion of an ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency.

Board Certification in Otolaryngology (ENT).

A minimum of 5 years of post-training experience with demonstrated success in a senior clinical academic or program leadership role.

Experience mentoring or developing junior staff/faculty and working within a multidisciplinary team.

Proven record of clinical excellence; academic accomplishments and/or professional service sufficient to support continued growth of the ENT program.

Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania; ability to work collegially within a physician-led integrated health system.
