About the Role
As a Housing Casework Advisor you will be a vital resource for the public offering high-quality advice and assistance on a range of housing issues with a focus on preventing homelessness. Your role will involve conducting initial needs assessments advocating on behalf of customers liaising with various agencies and maintaining accurate records.
You will assist service users in reconnecting with Local Authority and other provisions outside the city. Collaborating with various agencies you will ensure citizens access relevant services. Additionally you will ensure tenants and landlords understand their legal rights and responsibilities maintain accurate records of housing assistance and issue correspondence related to homelessness legislation. Your role will also involve investigating duties under homelessness legislation and supporting formal applications.
