Job Summary
The LINC/ESL Supply Instructor assists with day-to-day coverage of classes during the absence of an Instructor by assisting with the delivery of English language instruction for newcomers and immigrants to Canada following the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Curriculum Guidelines.
Additionally Supply Instructors assist with both short term and long term temporary assignments; planning and preparing lessons following the CLB curriculum guidelines; obtaining and developing learning materials as required; using PBLA protocols for classroom assessment; organizing and maintaining documentation of participants progress; maintaining clear and accurate academic and administrative student records.
This position is represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (C.U.P.E.) Local 5200.02Collective Agreement.
