Position Title: Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
Location: Leesburg VA
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:45 AM 3:15 PM
Contract Duration: 32 Weeks
Local Pay: $1050 per week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Behavioral Technicianfor an exciting job in Leesburg VA.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities within classroom and school environments
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage positive behaviors and skill acquisition
Accurately collect and document behavioral and performance data
Assist with crisis prevention intervention and de-escalation strategies as needed
Reinforce communication social and daily living skills
Collaborate effectively with teachers therapists and other school staff
Maintain student confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards

Qualifications

Active RBT Certification (required)
Prior experience working with children with special needs; school-based experience preferred
Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention practices
Excellent communication interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm patient and professional in dynamic school environments
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Psychology Education or related field preferred
Must meet school district background clearance requirements
