Job Title: System Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to oversee the maintenance enhancement and management of our organizations software hardware and network infrastructure. This role demands a high level of resourcefulness technical troubleshooting and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless operation security and efficiency of our IT systems while supporting users and driving infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and maintain software hardware and network components
Administer network servers service accounts workstations and related technology tools
Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with operational requirements
Diagnose and resolve technical issues and outages promptly
Implement and manage access controls data backups and system security protocols
Perform upgrades and deploy new system releases and models
Develop internal documentation including technical manuals IT policies and knowledge base articles
Train staff on new technologies and system usage
Ensure overall security reliability and efficiency of IT infrastructure

Qualifications

To be successful in this role candidates must possess:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field
Proven experience as a System Administrator Systems Engineer or similar IT role
Hands-on expertise with databases LAN/WAN networks and patch management
Strong understanding of system security practices (e.g. intrusion detection backup/recovery)
Familiarity with multiple operating systems and platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
Experience in regulated environments or enterprise-grade infrastructure
