Your key responsibilities will center on labor and delivery assessment continuous fetal monitoring analgesia management (including epidural considerations) labor support and rapid response to obstetric emergencies. Youll coordinate with obstetricians midwives anesthesia teams and neonatal staff to ensure safe deliveries and optimal newborn outcomes. Youll assess risk factors implement evidencebased protocols document meticulously and educate families about birth plans postpartum care and newborn care so new parents feel confident at discharge. This specialty rewards initiative and leadership. Youll have opportunities for professional growth through specialty certification (NLN AWHONN or NRP) involvement in quality improvement projects and potential precepting roles for new hires or student addition to a competitive weekly pay rate ranging roughly from $1702 to $1727 the package can include a signing or performance bonus comprehensive housing assistance and contract extensions that let you stay longer in locations you come to love. The role also includes guaranteed hours typically 36 per week with builtin call coverage or onsite shifts designed to maintain continuity of care.
