SUMMARY
Under the direction and guidance of the FBO Management /Supervisors the Line Service Technician is responsible for a safe compliant and efficient FBO operation for aircraft fueling ground handling facilities and customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate all aircraft fueling operations per FAA requirements and airline standards.
- Maintain daily record keeping as assigned electronic or manual.
- Assist with the daily functions of the customer service counter and airside operations.
- Assist in the preventative maintenance (daily checks) cleanliness and proper storage of all aircraft and FBO ground support equipment. Equipment shall be maintained to exceed industry standards and shall strive for 100% readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness of all aircraft parking and tie-down areas.
- Assist in the operations and maintenance of all bulk fuel storage systems.
- Perform the daily maintenance and cleaning of mobile fueling equipment.
- Perform the daily fuel quality testing and record results.
- Perform airport security duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferably in an outside environment is preferred.
- Valid Florida Drivers License.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Able to problem solve independently or seek assistance.
- Knowledge of general and commercial aviation operations and procedures.
- Skilled with aviation and ground base radio systems or similar equipment.
- Able to provide excellent customer service.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Requires 24-hour/7-day on-call status.
- Able to work rotating shifts nights weekends and holidays.
- Capable of working in all weather conditions including extreme heat.
- Able to lift 50 pounds push climb and walk for the majority of the workday.
- Exposed to and handles hazardous materials.
